Though the year is quickly wrapping up, there’s still lots of exciting things happening. First is my final convention of the year, Designer Con 2016! So if you’re looking for some retail therapy this weekend, swing by!
The end of October is approaching quickly and I’m excited to announce that this weekend will be the launch of two shows containing my artwork!
During the day, Tree & the Rock, in partnership with Gallery 1988 is launching it’s Tiny Tales show! It will features a collection for work by a variety of artists creating their own take on beloved children’s tales. Since it’s a kid friendly show it will open from 11a – 6pm.
Afterwards, head over to Gallery Nucleus and check out their exhibition for Laika’s 10 year Anniversary celebration. For this show, I created not just one, but two pieces! One will pay homage to Coraline and the other celebrates the amazing film, Kubo and the Two Strings.
That’s THREE whole new pieces waiting for new homes! Be sure to swing by the shows as each will run for a couple weeks.
“Should You Need Us” is set to premiere tomorrow at Gallery Nucleus’s “Through the Dangers Untold: A Labyrinth 30th Anniversary Tribute Exhibition” .
From Gallery Nucleus:
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the 1986 fantasy cult-classic Labyrinth and in memory of David Bowie, we are proud to present this official tribute to Jim Henson’s incredibly charming & imaginative final film.
Join us SEPTEMBER 17, 2016 from 7-10PM as we unveil original artwork from a wonderfully talented roster of artists that revisits our favorite scenes and characters from the film!
The show runs through September 30, 2016 so be sure to swing by and check out all the fun pieces!
San Diego Comic Con is happening this week starting Wednesday, July 20 – Sunday, July 24, 2016!
I’m headed down tomorrow to start set up and am excited to announce that I’ll be in a new location with a new friend, Mauricio Abril. We’ve upgraded from an exhibitor table to an exhibitor booth which mean more space to have more stuff!
If you’re headed down there, please stop by and say hi!
On shelves now! If you’re in the UK, you can find my work featured in GirlTalk magazine this month.
