It all started when…

One young man reached out to me back in 2012 with an idea - could I help him make a pop-up book to help propose to his girlfriend? Since then, I’ve created over 20 custom pop-up books for people all over the world. Many are used to propose to a loved one, but others are used as guest book a weddings, or gifts for anniversaries or birthdays.

All in the Details

What makes my pop-up commission unique is all in the details! I work closely with each client to tell their unique story. I use photo reference to get as many details as I can into each illustration so it’s truly your own. In addition, there’s an opportunity for you to add you and your loved one’s name to the beginning of the book, and include a special photo with a message at the very end.

How a Commission Works

1) You reach out via my contact form and express interest in possibly working together.
2) I’ll email you back with a form that asks what you’re looking for (book sizes, number of pop-ups, how much detail, due date, etc).
3) After you complete the form, I’ll generate a custom quote based off your specifications.
4) If you are still interested in pursuing the project, you’ll let me know and put down a deposit.
5) After the deposit is received, I’ll ask you to send over any photos for reference of you, your significant other, specific moments, places, etc. as well as any special text you’d like to include.
6) In several weeks, you’ll receive an email from me with rough white mock ups of the pop-ups. These are to give you a general idea as to what to expect and is your only opportunity to correct any mistakes.
7) Once approved, I’ll proceed to final illustration and send over photos of the completed project.
8) After I receive the remainder of the commission fee, I’ll ship out your book.
